Bar Somnus 2P

Bar Somnus 2P can be used in beef and dairy cattle of any age, and because it protects against three common bacterial strains, it avoids added stress on the animals and reduces manual labor for you.

It is the only single vaccine to aid in the prevention of respiratory diseases caused by Haemophilus somnus, while aiding in the reduction of disease caused by Pasteurella multocida (shipping fever disease/BRD) and Mannheimia haemolytica (BRD).

• The only vaccine to offer protection from all three diseases in a single vaccine; meaning less manual labor and minimized stress on the animals.
• Can be used in cattle of any age so no need to wait when a calf needs it.

• Contains chemically inactivated, aluminum hydroxide absorbed whole cultures of Haemophilus somnus, Pasteurella multocida, and Mannheimia haemolytica.
• Also contains neomycin as a preservative.
• Store out of direct sunlight at 35 to 45 ˚F (2 to 7 ˚C); avoid freezing.
• Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter.
• Anaphylactic reactions may occur; use epinephrine as antidote.

Dosage & Administration

• Shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened.
• Administer 2 ml intramuscularly using an aseptic technique. Repeat dose in 21 days and once annually. Calves vaccinated before 6 months of age should be revaccinated after 6 months.
