The cow hip lift is a must when faced with downer cows, calving paralysis, or a prolapsed uterus. This easy cow lift is completely adjustable to fit any size of cattle. Large 10-inch rings are placed over pelvic bones and tightened by turning the crank. Chain is then placed into the ring at the top of the cow hip lift so that the animal can be raised with either a loader or block and tackle. This hip clamp is best not left on the animal more than 30 minutes at a time.
