SU-PER Nasal Ointment is a drug free, lanolin-based salve which helps to open breathing passages. It is a very popular pre-competition treatment, to provide relief of minor respiratory inflammation or congestion, and to help the horse breathe easy. This drug-free formula contains Peppermint Oil, Castor Oil, and Eucalyptus Oil.
Also useful for transporting stallions, to partially block his sense of smell for a short time if being transported with a mare. It can also be used in cold weather conditions for general nasal congestion or during recovery from illness.
Apply a small amount of SU-PERยฎ Nasal Ointment to the inside of the nostrils 3 times daily and again 1 hour before the event. Before applying, be sure to clear the nostrils. May also be applied on the tongue.
